PBS-Bio (Predictive Biomarkers Services) is a privately held company incorporated in January 2006 by Edward A. Smith, MD, MPH, Paul Kreutz, Esq., and Brian Smith, Esq. The incorporation is the result of research performed in the Cancer Genetics Branch of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institute of Health and later in Phoenix, Arizona's non-profit Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen).
